FreeWRL Linux Install from PackageThere are a lot of linux distributions, some similar to others.We do have some dedicated volunteers who keep binary installs up to date. Below are some directions that may help you out. We encourage feedback - please send along any suggestions/comments. last update: July 27 2011. DebianFreeWRL developer Michel Briand packages FreeWRL for Debian, and, by default, other "Debian Based" systems like Ubuntu. The various .deb packages he has built are available for download here: http://download.tuxfamily.org/myosotis/freewrl/package/ GentooFreeWRL developer Ian Stakenvicius packages FreeWRL for Gentoo. FreWRL is available in the Gentoo Portage Tree. Simply 'emerge media-gfx/freewrl' to install. FedoraWork is in progress to get Freewrl-1.22.12 added to Fedora 15
